*** wisdom faierie ***

do you remember getting your wisdom teeth pulled??

according to my dads records
mine were pulled

11-3-1988

&
evidence
yes
i asked to have my teeth saved

so after surgery they gave them
to me in a small envelope
when
i opened it up
out spilled 4 big teeth into the palm of
my hand..

i handed one to my dad
" for wisdom"
i told him
i laughed the best i could with
swollen cheeks & a mouth full of cotton gauze

he laughed...
&
he kept that tooth...
i found it in his belongings
after he passed away
in 2008
so
i was thinking
is there a different fairy
for the collection of wisdom teeth??
what about eye teeth..the "fangs"
is there a special eclipse vampire fairy who
collects the fangs??

well i made this door for Wisdom
the wisdom tooth fairy
i figure she has special ways in with she is able to extract
the wisdom from those huge painful teeth
&
make a fabulous pixie dust
.... one that lifts spirits..
sparks new ideas
& gives us strength & hope for new beginnings!!

visitors admiring it.. she lives on a golf course.. i think she has a mulligan fairy!!

so i have been busy building ..

i scrolled the front door with my
wood burning tool
for a little flare!
turned out terrific..
i'm sure she will appreciate my little added special touches..

*** i made it through the weekend ***

i did it .. i survived a weekend without colman being home.. he was off with his grandparents on an adventure & andy is now in AZ so it was me...
me & my BIG dogs for 3 days....
REAALLY BIG DOGS
i did a lot of painting.. played with the dogs.. laid in bed & watched R rated movies & ate jelly beans.... it was wonderful but i had a terrible time trying to sleep....
saturday night i went out for dinner & drinks with my brother jamie & mel.. it was fun! we went to a hip new place downtown .. tried all types of funky mexican food & drank some tequila.. there was a brownish colored one called a scorpian.. it tasted smoky.. pretty good... i'm not much of a drinker.. as far as tequila.. nope don't drink that either but it was a tequila bar so we ordered some .... it was an adventure!!

i have been working on finishing up a few commissions before i
go out of town... i will be gone the 3rd-8th..
so hold tight more to come
