it's just around the corner..
november 2
it seemed fitting to celebrate it today...
the death of so much in my world
but what a rebirth**

i have been thinking a lot of
"my time line"
sorta sounds weird but i literally
feel like the rug was pulled out from beneath me..
swift & hard ..

i totally fell on my ass!

i have never put it on paper.. .
or really dated things
in my blurrrrrr......
i still tell people i just moved to MN because i feel like i just did!!
i think we all have our blurrs...
this is mine

may 2007 move cross country from AZ to MN
aug 2007 second move in MN about 8 miles
* crazy neighbors ** REALLY CRAZY i don't regret moving AT ALL *
aug 2008 dad passes away
may 2009 find out my husband wants a divorce
** from my father-in-law.. at the local applebees **
** REALLY i thought i was being punked**
July 2009 sister passes away leaving 5 young children
* i made the gut-wrenching call to my mom telling her her oldest daughter died *
july 2010 my divorce is final & i find out i have to sell my home
aug 2010 son..3 dogs..cat & i move in with my sister-in-law & brother until house sells
sept 2010 renovations to sell my house begin
oct 2010 house is ready to sell & put on the market

now we are here

i have learned more than words...

** halloween **

hoping everyone had a super spooktacular halloween!!
right?!?!
fun fun fun???
i sure hope so!!
i just love halloween!!
you may remember last year i was my fairy godmother ..
this year ..
well
i actually was without my baby bird..
my colman flew free from the nest that evening
to trick-or-treat with his friends..
which lead to a sleepover ..
which left me
home
missing trick-o-treating with him..
i know i know
the kid IS 12..
but he is
the oldest ..
the youngest
the middle ..
my only child ...
i'm missing the trick-o-treating already....
but
love the sound in his voice when he calls giggling throughout the night
sharing
his silly 12 year old boy halloween stories with me!

had a few nieces over to play a couple days before the holiday ...
we decorated a gingerbread haunted house..
had a heck of a time trying to get the walls to stay together
i don't like the kind you have to assemble..
look for pre-assembled gingerbread houses..
it will save you a lot of headaches unless you are like me
& we all just decorated the walls and roof un-assembled!!
and of course we played with my costumes!

*** happy halloween!!!!!!! ***

scary huh??

i think my brother almost shit himself when i can floating down the stairs looking so absolutely fabulous!! he was concerned that that was indeed my forehead ... nooooo it's not.. it's wig.. glasses are attached too .. oooh i love this wig.. i found it when i was out with my sister on thursday... we couldn't stop laughing ... we had to have it! i added the wings .. the daisy barrette & decided this is what my guardian angel looks like so i was her ...my angel for halloween :)

colman was a cannon..
my dad's costume.. he was a human cannonball one year

mel was their black cat jade....

she wasn't going to dress up
i did mention that if she wasn't in costume i have plenty & i will dress her
when she got to my house...
she showed up in costume
:)
then we had a beautiful princess & a kitten

how fun..
my brother didn't dress up
but he played scared good ...

the dogs didn't dress up this year but bing the cat decided to be a rooster..
