my big goofy dogs have saved the day!!
sure they are clumsy..
they are big..
have no sense of size ..
i think that would be sorta nice tho ..
always believing you'll fit.. can squeeze thru
that your a lap dog ..

can you believe it
2010
is finally here!!!!
it seemed like this year would never end...

it will be a positive year of
good things..change ..growth..love..

maybe even a kiss in 2010 from someone besides my dogs!!

not that i don't like wet sloppy kisses from my dogs but you get the drift

he crossed the bridge at 15-16 yrs old along with monkey the cat ....
also
one of my favorite persons 2 amazing bernese mountain dogs ...
windy & DD
within 2 weeks of each other
at young ages ..both with cancer..
heart breaking..

colman successfully completed another year of school..
now we are on
to the 6th grade...
so the summer will be full of fishing..swimming.. biking..
boating ..
& of course i will continue to paint up a storm

i've been busy

a child in elementary school

i have emails & notes from school requesting that if
your child coughs
keep them home

my colman...

*** mini me the doll ***

ok... i have a thing for dolls..
rag dolls ..especially raggedy ann dolls ...
melissa mentioned in her blog holly hobbie... remember her?? she looked like little laura ingles ... anyways a couple months ago i started to make a doll of me for me.. all from scratch.. here she is my first dollie...
silver strands in the hair & all!
my hair is shorter now but it will grow out wild
& crazy again right?!?!?
the little velvet rose skirt is
a piece of a favorite little jacket i wore in the 80's ..
i started knitting a couple months ago & had hoped to have a scarf i could wear by now..
but since i don't... i'm a slow knitter ...
i knit a mini scarf one for my mini me.. my first scarf!!
boots cuz i LOVE boots
& tights the color of my dogs
rust black & white
because we are sooo much a part of each other...

ok .. i have been so incredibly clumsy lately..
is it all this snow we have had?
is it age?
i wish..
i just am clumsy!!

today while siting and painting away i grabbed a beautiful minty greeny blue ..
squeezed a little & nothing so i squeezed a little harder ..
you know what happened next ..
yep i actually had a quick glimpse into my future myself...
i was COVERED in beautiful greeny blue..
across my shoulder..
half my cheek..
hair..
and yes
my mouth was opened & well
beautiful greeny blue doesn't taste very beautiful!!

it was funny
i was totally laughing!

my lip is healing.. i think i will be fine..
hopefully tooth is fine ..
but a fabulous gold tooth would look wonderful!!

i sorta lisp now..
i have been watching nancy grace for weeks ..
it is all about caylee anthony ..
20 some odd weeks in counting & the woman says caylee so weird..
she like rolls the l or something i can't figure it out but it
annoys ..fascinates & cracks me up..
maybe i will develop an odd thing like that
a funny way to say my own name ..
just my name ..
nancy only seems to say caylee weird ..
it's different everytime she says it ..

thank you vet's...
that's my dad in above photo..
i went to visit him today.. he is at a national cemetery
i was so happy to see how busy it was..
however there were far more wreathes that flags..
???????????
i thought the boy scouts put flags out today..
ok so i need to get it together & make a fabulous wreath
my project for the weekend..

ok more news the art i did for the BMD Rockies specialty raised
the most money to date .. that's in the history of the club!!

so the week .. well .. was rough
i needed to be home where i am comfortable not
where i was feeling sad & alone
high point i did catch a little fishie

i leave on tuesday for phoenix.. it will be quite a week ..
we are heading for my dads.. meeting my brother sister-in-law & uncle ...
heading out with my other brother his wife & girls.. my nephew & my son...
i'm nervous.. scared.. numb.. overwelmed.. anxious
